The Tide Wrestling Club exists to grow the sport of wrestling at the youth and middle school levels within the Glencoe High School attendance area. The Tide Wrestling Club (TWC) does this by serving as the parent organization for the Mat Monsters, Glencoe Youth Wrestling (GYW) and Evergreen Eagles Wrestling (EEW). The Mat Monsters introduces the sport to our youngest athletes in grades K-2. GYW serves our elementary school athletes in grades 3-6. EEW offers wrestling opportunities for our middle school athletes, grades 7 & 8.

The Tide Wrestling Club is a chartered USA Wrestling club. With all of our offerings - Mat Monsters, GYW and EEW, we are focused on developing the sport of wrestling in the Hillsboro, OR community and the next generation of high school wrestlers. The Tide Wrestling Club operates out of 2 facilities - the Glencoe High School wrestling room for our elementary school wrestlers (Mat Monsters and GYW) and Evergreen Middle School for our middle school athletes.
For our GYW and EEW athletes, our club offers 2 levels of membership: recreational and competitive.
The primary goal of the Tide Wrestling Club is to grow the sport of wrestling (as mentioned a few times already). To accomplish that goal, our organization emphasizes:
Providing young athletes with a positive experience with the sport of wrestling
Focusing on the experience, learning and development of the wrestler; not wins and losses
Maintaining a fun, positive and safe environment
Building a connection between the wrestler and the sport that makes them want to continue season after season
